Mushroom pulav recipe

                                                              








Ingredients:



  • 2 cups of basmati rice
  • Mushroom (200g)
  • Onion, finely chopped (200g)
  • 2tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 4 green chillies
  • 2 cinnamom stick
  • 2 cardamom
  • 2 cloves
  • 1 bay leaf
  • oil
  • 1/2 cup curd
  • 1/4 cup coriander leaves
  • 1/4 cup mint leaves
  • Salt as per taste.
  • coconut milk (optional for more taste)



Rice water ratio

2 cups of rice : 3 cups of water

This ratio implies only for basmati rice


Procedure for preparation:


Step 1:  Keep the cooker on stove, pour 4tbsp oil, put cinnamom stick, cardamom, cloves, bay leaf and fry it. Then add ginger garlic paste, onion and fry it for 5 minutes.

Step 2: Add coriander leaves, mint leaves and fry it. Add green chillies and continue frying, following that add mushroom and fry it, then add curd and rice, continue frying for 2 minutes.

Step 3: Then pour water and salt. Then close the cooker and allow for 3 whistle.




 

Spicy salmon fish fry recipe


                                                               



Ingredients:


  • Salmon fish (300g)
  • oil for frying
  • 1tbsp cumin seeds
  • 1tbsp mustard seeds
  • 1 large chopped onion
  • 2 small tomatoes, finely chopped
  • 1 green chilli (optional)
  • Salt
  • red chilli flakes
  • 1tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1/2tbsp black pepper
  • coriander leaves


Procedure for preparation:


Step 1: Pour 2tbsp oil, put cumin seeds, mustard seeds, chopped onions, green chillies and saute it.

Step 2: Add little salt and continue frying, then add 1tbsp ginger garlic paste, then add chopped tomato, little red chilli flakes and saute it for 5 minutes.

Step 3: Then add salmon fish pieces and spread it evenly in the pan and stir it gently. Salmon should not be over cooked. Salmon will be cooked in 5 to 7 minutes.

Step 4: Add little black pepper and garnish with coriander leaves and serve it hot.

pudina grill prawns recipe, ( mint shrimp recipe), grilled prawn recipe

                                   





Ingredients:


  • prawns (300g)
  • 2 cups mint leaves
  • 1 inch ginger
  • 6 garlic cloves
  • 2 green chilli
  • 1tbsp lime juice
  • salt as per taste
  • 1/2tbsp pepper powder
  • 2tbsp oil


Procedure for preparation:


Step 1: Grind the mint leaves, ginger, garlic, green chilli together in a food processor into a psate.

Step 2: Transfer the paste to a bowl, then add pepper powder, oil, salt, lime juice and mix it nicely.

Step 3: put the prawns in the mixture and mix it and refrigerate for atleast 10 minutes.

step 4: Then put the prawns in the skewers, one after the other and place it on tawa for 5 minutes and turn other side and keep for few minutes. Grill mint prawns are ready.

Kadai prawn recipe, ( shrimp fry recipe)

                                                       





Ingredients:


  • Prawns (600g)
  • 2 medium size onion, finely chopped
  • 2 medium size tomato, finely chopped
  • 6tbsp tomato puree
  • 5 dried red chillies
  • 2tbsp coriander seeds
  • 1tbsp cumin seeds
  • 2 green chillies, cut into strips
  • 1inch ginger, cut into strips
  • 2tbsp fresh coriander leaves
  • 1/2tbsp garam masala powder
  • Salt as per taste
  • 1tbsp red chilli powder
  • 1/4tbsp turmeric powder
  • 2tbsp oil
  • 8 pepper corns


Procedure for preparation:


Step 1: Grind, red chilli powder, cumin seeds, coriander seeds, pepper corns together in food processor.


Step 2: keep the pan on the stove, pour oil, put ginger strips, green chilli strips, chopped onion and saute it for 2 minutes, following that add chopped tomato and saute it, until onion and tomato merge together. And add the tomato puree and fry it.

Step 3: Then add chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt, coriander leaves and put 1tbsp grinded masala nd fry it, then add prawns and stir it, then add little water, add garam masala powder, and mix it nicely. Then serve the hot kadai prawns.

Garlic prawn recipe


                                                    





Ingredients:

  • Prawns (500g)
  • 2tbsp garlic, crushed
  • 1 cup brocoli florets
  • 1cup spring onion
  • 1 onion, cut into pieces
  • 1/2tbsp garlic salt
  • 1tbsp cream
  • olive oil



Procedure for preparation:


Step 1: keep the pan the stove, pour 2tbsp oil, put crushed garlic, brocoli florets and saute for 5 minutes, then add chopped onion, spring onion and saute it for 4 minutes, and keep aside.

Step 2: Then keep the pan on the stove and pour 2 tbsp oil, put prawns and spread into a even layer in the pan. Saute it for 4 minutes and add little water, turn and simmer for another 3 minutes and add  a pinch of garlic salt.

Step 3: Then add the cooked vegetables in the prawns and saute it for 2 minutes and add some more garlic salt, add cream and saute it for one minute, garlic prawn is ready.

Methi chicken recipe, ( fenugreek leaves chicken )


                                                             








Ingredients:

  • Chicken (500g)
  • 1 cup curd
  • 1 cup fresh cream
  • 1 and half tbsp coriander
  • 1/2tbsp turmeric powder
  • 1tbsp chilli powder.
  • 2 bunches methi leaves, finely chopped
  • 1tbsp ginger, cut into strips
  • 4 green chillies, ( slit 2 green chilli)
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 3 green cardamoms
  • 3 black cardamom
  • 2 cinnamom stick
  • 4 cloves
  • salt as per taste
  • 2 medium size onion, finely chopped
  • 6 garlic pods
  • 1 inch ginger
  • oil





Procedure for preparation:


Step 1: Put the chicken pieces in bowl, add curd, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt, bay leaves, cloves, black cardamoms, green cardamoms, mace, cinnamom, ghee mix well and set aside for ten minutes.

Step 2: Grind ginger, garlic, onions and two green chillies into a paste.

Step 3: Keep the pan on the stove, pour 2 tbsp oil, put the ground paste and saute for 2 minutes.

Step 4: Then add the methi leaves and stir it continously for 7 minutes.

Step 5: Then add the marinated chicken and mix well. Then cover and cook for 6 to 8 minutes, stir it, inbetween until the chicken get cooked.

Step 6: Then add the slit green chilli, ginger strips and stir it. Then add cream and cook for 5 minutes. Then you can serve the hot methi chicken.




 

Moong dhall sambar recipe

                                        


 

Ingredients:


  • Moong dhall (50g), soak for 20 minutes
  • 2 medium size onion, cut into big pieces
  • 2 medium size tomato, cut into big pieces
  • 6 green chilli
  • 8 pods garlic
  • curry leaves
  • coriander leaves
  • 1/2tbsp mustard seeds
  • 1 marble size tamarind,
  • Salt as per taste
  • a pinch turmeric
  • 2 red chilli
  • 1/4tbsp asafoetida


Procedure for preparation:

Step 1: keep the pressure cooker on the stove, put soaked moong dhall, onion, tomato, green chilli, garlic, salt, turmeric, tamarind. and pour some water and close the cooker and allow for 5 whistle.

Step 2: Keep the pan on the stove, put mustard seeds, curry leaves, asafoetida, dry red chilli and fry for one minute, then add little water and allow it to boil.

Step 3: Now open the cooker, and blend the content nicely and pour in the pan, allow it to boil for 5 minutes, then garnish with coriander leaves and serve it hot.

This recipe will be suitable for idly, dosa, pongal etc..
