prawn curry recipe, ( shrimp curry recipe ), (Era kolambu recipe )

                                      
                                 








Ingredients:


  • Prawns (500g)
  • 2 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tomato, grind it to paste
  • 2tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1/2tbsp mustard seeds
  • 2 green chilli, slit it
  • curry leaves
  • coriander leaves
  • 1 and half tbsp chilli powder
  • 1tbsp coriander powder
  • a pinch turmeric powder
  • 50g coconut pieces, grind it to paste
  • oil


Procedure for preparation:


Step 1: clean the prawns and wash it in water and drain the water completely.

Step 2: Keep the pan on the stove, pour tbsp oil, put mustard seeds, curry leaves, ginger garlic paste, chopped onion and fry it, then add the tomato paste and fry it, until onion and tomato merge together.

Step 3: Put the prawns and fry for 5 minutes, following that add chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric, salt and continue frying for 5 minutes. Then add some water and allow it to boil, until masala smell goes off and prawns gets cooked.

Step 4: Then put the grinded coconut paste and stir well and allow it to boil for 5 minutes, then garnish with coriander leaves and start serving with white rice.

 

Prawn gravy recipe, ( shrimp gravy recipe) (era thokku recipe)

                          
                                                             




Ingredients:


  • Prawns (500g)

  • coriander leaves
  • 1 tomato, finely chopped
  • 2 green chilli, slit it
  • 1tbsp chilli powder
  • 1tbsp coriander powder
  • a pinch turmeric powder
  • salt as per taste
  • 1/2tbsp mustard seeds
  • Oil


Procedure for preparation:


Step 1: Clean the prawn and wash it in water and drain the water completely.

Step 2: keep the pan on stove, pour 4tbsp oil, put mustard seeds, onion, green chilli, curry leaves and fry it, following that add chopped tomato and fry it, until onion and tomato merge together.

Step 3: Put the prawns in the pan and fry 5 minutes, then put chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, salt and continue frying.

Step 4: Pour little water and close the pan for 10 minutes, until prawns to get cooked, stir it occasionally.

Step 5: Garnish with coriander leaves and start serving.

Kolhapuri chicken recipe



                                                           








Ingredients:


  • 12 chicken pieces
  • 2 medium size onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2tbsp turmeric powder
  • 2tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • Salt to taste
  • 2tbsp coriander leaves, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg powder
  • 6 cloves
  • 1tbsp poppy seeds
  • 1tbsp sesame seeds
  • 8 black pepper corns
  • 8 red chilli
  • 1/2 cup grated dry coconut
  • 1 inch cinnamom stick
  • 2tbsp cumin seeds
  • 3tbsp oil


Procedure for preparation:


Step 1: Keep the pan on the stove, put grated coconut and saute, until it turn golden brown colour. Then add cumin seeds, cinnamom, cloves and saute it, then add black pepper corns, sesame seeds and saute it for 1 minute.

Step 2: Then roast the red chilli separately.

Step 3: Grind all these spices together without adding water in the food processor and keep aside.

Step  4: Take a bowl, put the chicken pieces,salt, spices powder and mix it well with the chicken.

Step 5: Keep the pan on stove, pour 3tbsp oil, put onions and saute it until it turns golden brown colour, add ginger garlic paste and turmeric powder, then add the chicken and stir well, and some nutmeg powder, and stir the chicken gently.

Step 6: Then add coriander leaves and add some water, it looks nice red colour. Close the lid and allow it to cook for 15 minutes, until the chicken get cooked. Then serve the hot kolhapuri chicken.
 

Coriander chicken gravy recipe

                                                           

                                                             




Ingredients:



  • 6 green chillies
  • 1 bunch coriander leaves
  • little curry leaves
  • 2 tbsp poppy seeds
  • coconut pieces (50g)
  • 10 cashew nuts
  • 2tbsp coriander seeds, grind into coarse
  • 1tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 2tbsp curd
  • a pinch turmeric powder
  • Salt as per taste
  • Oil



Procedure for preparation:


Step 1: Grind the green chilli, coriander leaves, curry leaves to paste and keep aside.

Step 2: Grind the poppy seeds, cashew nuts, coconut nicely in food processor.

Step 3: Keep the pan on the stove, pour 3 tbsp oil and put cumin seeds, and put the coarsely grinded coriander fry it, until it turns golden brown, then add ginger garlic paste to it and continue frying.

Step 4: Now add the poppy seeds, cashew paste mixture in the pan and stir it well, add turmeric powder. keep in the medium flame. If the gravy is too thick add little water to it.

Step 5: Then put the grinded green chilli, coriander mixture into the pan and keep stirring for 5 minutes, then add the chicken pieces and stir well in medium flame for 5 minutes. Then pour some water for gravy. Then stir well and add the salt for taste.

Step 6: Add 2tbsp curd and stir it. Then close the pan and leave for 10 minutes in medium flame. Coriander chicken is ready, you can serve it hot.

Garlic chicken recipe.


                                                          







Ingredients:


  • Boneless chicken (200g)
  • 2 stalk spring onion greens, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup chicken stock
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • Salt as per taste
  • 12 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 2tbsp cornstarch
  • 2tbsp tomato ketchup
  • 4tbsp oil



Procedure for preparation:


Step 1: Cut the chicken into little bigger pieces.

Step 2: Take a bowl, dissolve the corn powder.

Step 3: Keep the pan on the stove, pour 4tbsp of oil, and add chopped garlic and saute it. Then add diced onion, chicken, salt and saute it for few minutes.

Step 4: Then add tomato ketchup, chilli paste, stock and saute it. It has to look like saucy consistency, then add the corn starch. Then put some spring onions and serve it hot.

 

Fish finger recipe

                                                               









Ingredients:


  • 4tbsp Gram flour
  • 1tbsp Red chilli powder
  • Turmeric powder
  • 1/4tbsp Garam masala
  • 1/4tbsp Coriander powder
  • 1/4tbsp Cumin powder
  • 1/2tbsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 1/2tbsp Chopped curry leaves
  • Fish cut in fingers (250g)
  • 4tbsp Bread crumbs
  •  3 drops of lime
  • Salt
  • Oil

Procedure for preparation:


Step 1: Mix the gram flour and bread crumbs in plate and keep aside.

Step 2: Take the fish fingers and put it in a bowl.

Step 3: Add chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste, chopped curry leaves, lime juice, salt and mix it nicely with fish fingers.

Step 4: Keep the frying pan and pour oil and heat it, now dip the fish fingers in gram flour and bread crumbs mixture and coat the fish fingers nicely.

Step 5: Then put the coated fish fingers in the hot oil and fry it. Hot and spicy fish fingers are ready.



 

Idly masala powder recipe, (Idly podi recipe)






                                                        


                                                      



                                                This is an different idly powder recipe, it will be good combition for specially idly and dosa. It is very simple to prepare in 10 minutes.




Ingredients:

  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 3tbsp sambar powder
  • Salt as per taste
  • Oil


Procedure for preparation:


Step 1: Pour the water in the chopped onion and drain the water completly.

Step 2: Put the sambar powder and salt in the chopped onion.

Step 4: Pour 4tbsp oil and mix it nicely. Now the different idly powder is ready.
